Jack Wells is a past Chairman of the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities, the trade organization which represents the majority of Kentucky's nursing homes. He is a past member of the Executive Committee of the American Health Care Association, Washington D.C., past board member and Chairman of the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley, Girls Incorporated and the Elizabeth Munday Senior Citizens Center. He presently serves on the Board of Trustees of Kentucky Wesleyan College, the Board of Director's of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and Independence Bank.
Jean Wells, Vice President
Jean Wells is a past Chairman of the Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities and currently serves as the Legislative Committee Chairperson on the KAHCF Board of Director's, a position she has held since 1992. She is a past Ethics Chairperson for the American Health Care Association. Currently she serves on the Kentucky Economic Development Partnership Board, one of eight people in Kentucky to be appointed to this position. Jean presently serves or has been involved with numerous boards including Junior Achievement, River Park Center, Family YMCA, the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce, serving as the Legislative Chairperson, and the Owensboro Community College Foundation Board.
Greg Wells, Vice President of Operations
Greg Wells has been involved in long term care operations nearly 30 years as an Administrator, Regional Director of Operations and currently as the Vice President of Operations for WHS. He is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. Greg presently serves on the Executive Committee of the KAHCF Board of Director's as the First Vice Chair and is the Chairman of the Membership Committee. Greg also serves on the Board of Director's of Statewide Insurance Services. He has previously held offices on the KAHCF Board in the capacity of District Director, Secretary and Treasurer and is a past Chairman of the Finance Committee of the KAHCF. Greg also serves on the Board of Director's and the Finance Committee of the Hospice and Palliative Care of the Ohio Valley.
Janine Lehman, Director of Clinical Services
Janine Lehman is a Registered Nurse, a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and is Wound Care Certified. For the past 17 years, she has worked in all aspects of geriatric nursing, from nursing assistant and charge nurse to MDS Coordinator and Director of Nursing. Presently she oversees all areas of resident care in each of our owned and managed locations and is an active member of the KAHCF. She is a current member and past President of the State Council of the Kentucky Association of Director of Nursing Administrator's, (KADONA), was the provider representative on the Case Mix Appeals Panel, and has served on the IDR panel and the MDS Validation work group. She is a frequent presenter at the LTC Management Training, MDS Basic and Advanced Training as well as many other KAHCF seminars. As a Certified Legal Nurse consultant, she provides legal nurse consulting services including clinical case evaluations, chart audits and expert testimony.
Terry Skaggs, Chief Financial Officer
Terry Skaggs is an Accountant and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Terry has worked in the health care field for 26 years, working first in the acute care setting and for the past 18 years, in long term care. As the Chief Financial Officer, Terry oversees all areas of finance, reimbursement, general ledger and billing for our operations. Terry is a past Chairman of Statewide Insurance Services and presently serves on that board as the Vice Chair. He presently serves on the KAHCF Board of Director's as the Chairman of the Payment for Services Committee as well as the Chairman of the Kentucky Medicaid Technical Advisory Committee. Terry also serves on the National Government Service Provider Outreach Advisory Committee and the American Health Care Association's Finance Committee on Medicare and Medicaid.
